Whether in our cosy restaurant, separate side rooms or our light-filled Salettl conservatory, our hotel serves some of the best examples of local traditional and seasonal cuisine. Our dishes are always skilfully prepared using regional produce.
We use our own ingredients, such as venison from our own enclosure and herbs from our garden, alongside other products from the region. Our menu always includes special venison dishes all year round.

The beer garden
Enjoy a peaceful summer day in our secluded beer garden.
Our large and picturesque garden is the perfect place to relax under a shady chestnut tree and enjoy our summer dishes in the tranquillity of the countryside. What better way to end a day in the Bavarian country than with a platter of cheese and charcuterie along with a refreshing Radler (mixture of beer and lemonade) or in true Bavarian style with a litre of beer? You can also enjoy all the dishes from our diverse menu in the beer garden. And while you relax, our younger guests can play safely in our wonderful playground.

A broad selection of special dishes all year round.
Alongside our standard menu, we offer a changing seasonal menu that reflects both the fresh produce available throughout the year and the eye for detail that distinguishes our chefs’ craftsmanship. In spring, for example, our menu is full of asparagus dishes. Summer is the time for enjoying light and refreshing salads. As the leaves change and the sun sits lower in the sky in autumn, our menu changes too and includes dishes made with wild mushrooms. In wintertime, we offer hearty roasts including duck and goose.

No hearty and sumptuous meal in Bavaria would be complete without a little glass of home-made pear brandy or walnut liqueur. We recently began producing these and many other intriguing specialities in our very own distillery, which was founded by the manager Xaver Hofmeier and his brother Herbert.
They turned their hobby of many years into a unique and important part of our business. The distillery turns fruit like apples and pears from local orchards into exclusive spirits.

Local produce in excellent quality plays a key role here.
We are proud of our achievements. We were recently awarded the “Outstanding Bavarian Cuisine” seal of quality, with the maximum of three diamonds, by the Bavarian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry, together with the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association. We were also awarded the coveted GastroManagementPass by the Bavarian Permanent Secretary for the Economy Franz Josef Pschierer.
